The Pink Lady of Greencastle, Indiana

The O'Hare mansion sat back off of Brick Chapple Rd. off of state highway 231 about a mile in Putnam County Indiana close to the Van Bibber / Glenn Flint Lake area. The mansion was built in the early 1800's and was then abandoned.  The mansion was surrounded by a large grove of trees and could only be approached by the long gated lane that led back to the front of the four story brick mansion. Sadly the mansion has been torn down.

  4. Chappel is actually spelled Chapel.
Search in Google Maps for Brick Chapel Rd., Greencastle, IN. Van Bibber lake is just to the west of Hwy 231.

  5. Could anyone provide the Longitude and Latitude coordinates for the location for the former O'Hare Mansion?
